How to recover (un-delete) deleted items in MS Outlook?
Warning: Remember to backup your registry before you edit it. (Tip: Just create a System Restore Point – won’t take you more than a minute to do that!)
In order to Recover Deleted Items from Outlook, follow the steps given below:
1. Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe).
2. Locate and click the following key in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Exchange\Client\Options
3. On the Edit menu, click Add Value, and then add the following registry value:
Value name: DumpsterAlwaysOn
Data type: DWORD
Value Data: 1
4. Quit Registry Editor.
5. Restart Outlook
6. The Tools menu will now have the Recover Deleted Items command in every Outlook toolbar.
